The Department of Mathematics at The University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher, beginning September 1, 2025, to work in a Research Training Group, “Vertically Integrated Interdisciplinary Training in Mathematics for Human Health,” supported by the National Science Foundation. RTG themes include modeling in cancer biology, computational neuroscience, and mathematical epidemiology. The researcher will work closely with project faculty as well as collaborators in partner health institutions on this research, and on mentoring undergraduate and graduate students involved in the project. The appointment is for 3 years. Per funding requirements, only US citizens and permanent residents are eligible for this position. Strong preference will be given to applicants with a doctoral degree received in 2021 or after.
